Melissa-& Chloe

I want to take a moment to talk to you about a good friend, Melissa.  She has recently been recognized for her volunteer work within our community.  Melissa Lacoursiere volunteers with the Therapy Dog Program at St. John Ambulance in Timmins, Ontario.  She has a lovely pup named Chloe who is perfect for the program.

Here is Chloe, Melissa’s wonderful pup who visits children with special needs, the elderly in homes, and people in the hospital who seem to feel better when she visits.

Melissa works full time for a radio station under the Rogers Telemedia Network.  She was nominated by her employer for the Ted Rogers Humanitarian Award.  This award comes with a trophy, and $15,000 dollars to donate to the charity of her choice.  She chose the Therapy program for her local chapter in Timmins, Ontario.
